EIDR Calls for Comment on Live Sports Approach

After a year and a half of work, the Entertainment ID Registry (EIDR) is close to a recommended approach for live event and sports registrations. And before it gets to EIDR’s board of directors, the group is calling for last-minute comments and insights into the proposal.

“We have a proposed plan of attack for how we think it should go,” said Hollie Choi, managing director of EIDR. “We have it out for comment from the community. If people are interested in taking a look at the proposed plan and giving comment, we would welcome them to contact us.”

The board of directors is set to review the proposal at the end of September. Anyone who would to weigh in can contact secretariat@eidr.org.

“I feel like we're really close to a solid proposal to the board,” Choi said. “We just have a couple weeks left before they're going to review it and decide if they think that that's a proper way to do it.”
