EIDR APM Panel: Scaling Identity Without Breaking It

Over the past year, the Entertainment ID Registry (EIDR) has undertaken significant modernization efforts to strengthen its technical foundation.

In the panel “Scaling Identity Without Breaking It: What’s Changing and Why It Matters” at the April 24 Annual Participant Meeting, hosted by Google in Los Angeles, EIDR board members will discuss the rationale behind recent Registry changes, the evolution toward AI and machine learning-assisted processes, and the long-term strategy for ensuring scalability, precision, and cost sustainability.

This discussion will focus on the “why” behind modernization, what has changed, and what it unlocks for the future of interoperable metadata.

The panel discussion will include Ellen Goodridge, head of media management and distribution at Amazon MGM Studios; Ronda Haralson, senior director of title and library governance strategy at NBC Universal; Michael Kraskin, director of product management for XPERI; Mike Palmer, AVP of media management and advanced technology with Sinclair Broadcast; and Genevieve Standing, VP of global production, delivery, and metadata governance for Warner Bros. Discovery.
