The Entertainment ID Registry (EIDR) has landed on a theme and location for its April 24 Annual Participant Meeting: “Growing EIDR Together” will be hosted by Google in Los Angeles.
“This year, our focus is simple and bold: grow the Registry,” said Hollie Choi, EIDR’s managing director. “More content registered. More companies participating. More global voices, languages, and alternate IDs connected into a single trusted foundation.”
As the volume and velocity of media continue to accelerate, EIDR’s purpose — providing a clean, persistent, interoperable identifier — has never been greater. Growth at EIDR is not just about scale. It is about strengthening the infrastructure that powers discovery, distribution, and innovation across the industry.
“Whether you contribute more content, bring new members into the community, expand global participation, or elevate data quality, your engagement moves the entire ecosystem forward,” Choi said.
The 2025 edition of the EIDR APM was held at NBCUniversal and featured sessions revolving around data quality, as well as the adoption of EIDR across enterprises and streaming platforms. Studios, streaming giants, EIDR’s board, and more were on hand to celebrate what EIDR had accomplished to date, and what was on the horizon.
