The Entertainment ID Registry (EIDR) is welcoming Andrew Wahlquist, Director of Total Quality Management for Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution, to its board of directors.
At Disney, Wahlquist leads a team responsible for quality management within the studio’s global Distribution and Localization Operations group, which oversees technical on-boarding, metrics, process improvement, operations initiatives, data analytics and quality control for in-home distribution and Disney+. From 2016 to 2020, he was manager of technical operations, library and technical services for The Walt Disney Studios.
Before joining Disney, Wahlquist was chief technologist for post-production facility and creative boutique Local Hero Post, with 60 postproduction credits to his name, including work on Pitch Perfect, Captain Fantastic, andThe Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia.
A graduate of Biola University, Wahlquist also served as the multimedia producer for the Los Angeles Times Media Group.
