Hollie Choi, managing director of the Entertainment ID Registry (EIDR) and newly installed president of the home entertainment nonprofit trade association OTT.X, appeared for the first time as the head of OTT.X on Jan. 7 at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
Speaking at the OTT.X member breakfast at the Stirling Club in Las Vegas, Choi was interviewed by Craig Heiting, chief revenue officer of the AdGood Foundation, and shared how EIDR and OTT.X are complimentary to one another.
“There are more opportunities for collaboration because both organizations are focused on standards and efficiencies, along with the supply chain in general,” Choi said.
Choi shared background on her previous work at Hollywood studios, what she’s learned as a woman in the technology industry and shared her goals for both EIDR and OTT.X as a “fractional executive.”
“I want to grow OTT.X in a thoughtful way and make it a place where you can develop close relationships in this industry,” she said.
Attendees at the event included representatives of networks platforms, digital retailers, content providers, producers, aggregators, service providers, digital technology companies, advertisers and others involved in the business of streaming and OTT.
The event also included research insights to set the stage for the industry for 2025 and a live OTT.X BUZZ session.
