EIDR’s Clint Richmond Exits Operations Director Post Sept. 30

Clint Richmond, EIDR’s longtime director of operations, is leaving his post, following nearly a decade of helping guide the organization’s advancement. He will remain available to EIDR as a consultant going forward, according Kip Welch, EIDR’s executive director.

“Our sincere thanks to Clint Richmond, whose last day as director of operations is Sep. 30,” Welch said. “Clint has been a valuable member of the EIDR core team for almost a decade, and we very much appreciate his service and contributions to EIDR. We expect to continue to work with Clint as a consultant and will call upon his expertise as needed on special projects. If you would like to stay in touch with Clint, please ask EIDR Secretariat for his contact details.”

Richmond — an independent computer software professional who holds degrees from Columbia Business School and Vanderbilt University — joined EIDR shortly after its formation in 2010, and has been a major part of the organization’s success over the years, Welch added.

“I’d like to thank all my past and present EIDR colleagues, and especially Kip and everyone at MovieLabs, for all their support and cooperation during my tenure,” Richmond said. “EIDR has come a long way in 10 years to become the unqualified success it is today. I’d love to stay in touch with all the friends I have made at EIDR.”
