Renard Jenkins, president of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) and Natalie Monbiot, head of strategy at Hour One, will discuss.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBattling Deepfakes\u201d delves into the ongoing industry efforts to combat deepfakes, understanding the scale of the issue, and predicting its trajectory. Confirmed panelists include Duncan Crabtree-Ireland, executive director of SAG-AFTRA, and Walter Pasquarelli, contributor to The Economist and advisor on AI strategy and generative AI.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAI Talent Monetization\u201d will unpack the mechanisms behind capturing AI talent royalties and residuals in Hollywood after the SAG and WGA strikes, and the use and tracking of \u201cdigital replicas.\u201d Panelists include Simon Pulman, partner and media and entertainment co-chair at Pryor Cashman, a pro sports player association representative, and a major U.S. talent agency representative.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The HAND event will run from 9-10:30 a.m. PT via Zoom.
