Meta Joins EIDR

Multinational technology giant Meta is the latest company to join the Entertainment ID Registry (EIDR), bringing the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, Threads, and more into the content ID organization.

Meta paid creators nearly $3 billion in 2025, an increase of 35 percent from 2024, with more than half of that money going toward short-form video content creation.
