Fabric, the industry-leading metadata solution for automating title data in media and entertainment supply chains, helping fuel consumer content discovery across all screens, has a strategic vision for transforming all media operations, according to company CEO Rob Delf.

During the presentation “The Future of Fabric – Powering the Next Era of Media Operations” at the recent EIDR Annual Participant Meeting in Los Angeles, Delf shared that using data-driven intelligence, streamlined workflows, and scalable technology, Fabric is enabling continuous revenue discovery and performance optimization across the media supply chain.

Thanks to the acquisitions of companies like BB Media and Internet Video Archive, and a merger with Xytech, Fabric today can provide insights into market activity to define content strategy; help streamline resource management and operations; offer performance tracking and aggregated data to validate and refine content strategies; simplify and automate workflows; and constantly identify revenue opportunities for clients.

Delf also shared a first look at the 10 millionth EIDR Alt ID powered by Fabric, including exclusive data behind the milestone. Amazon Studios’ 2023 American biographical sports drama Air (EIDR ID: 10.5240/C668-CD01-C1D8-54E2-D6B6-Y; BB Media ID: 6b5aa84d1966079b4146e99338c881c8) is the 10 millionth EIDR alt ID registered. BB Media, a subsidiary of Fabric, registered the 10 millionth ID. The company also registered the 6 millionth EIDR alt ID.
